PAYS America, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. In addition to conducting research and providing public information about the PAYS® system, PAYS America, Inc. seeks to work with advocates of efficient energy use, state legislators and regulators to develop ways that the PAYS® system can stimulate the purchase of resource efficiency products and to assist with setting up the PAYS® infrastructure in their states. PAYS America, Inc. is funded by private tax-deductible donations and foundation and government grants. (Mission Statement)
